Updates!

I’ve built new packages for both asterisk and firefox over @ fedorajunkies.com for the latest security updates 🙂

I’ve also built a new url chopping website called ‘weename’ for now, until I locate a better domain, but that works for now. http://www.weename.com

New Fedora RPM builds for Firefox 1.5.0.10 and 2.0.0.2

I’ve taken the time to build RPMs for FC6 for the new critical firefox patches, they are available for download at:

Enjoy!

ImagePile – We’ve implemented upload via E-Mail!

You can now upload via e-mail to imagepile.net! simply attach your photo(s) to a email addressed to [email protected],  you will then be presented with a return email with a link to your image! (this works with camera phones!).

 Digg It!

Server upgrades

We’ve added some cluster servers to hopefully speed up my.imagepile and regular mirrors, there were some bumps this weekend as I was in Vancouver and of course since I leave for a nice vacation everything breaks ever couple hours… I guess that just shows how much maintenance is really needed to keep things running smoothly when you get 15-20 million hits a day ^.^

I’ve take a bunch of pictures of our colo at the Login Datacenter of some of our servers and our new partner Red Leaf Networks (redleafnetworks.com) who will be providing dedicated servers and colocation right next to the imagepile gear on the same high quality Qwest and Limelight blend 🙂

The sweet smell of opensource

Well I’ve finally gotten enough storage in my mirror server(s) to light up the Fedora Core mirror which is now available @ http://fedora.mirrors.imagepile.net/ , it is still currently synching up2date however there is already over 150GB of data available!!
